2018 Southern California International Music Festival
Founded in 2017, Southern California International Music Festival (SCIMF) is an international summer music program located in Los Angeles, CA. This program invites world class faculties and guests who are renown performing musicians as well as educators, all of whom are committed to inspiring and instructing new generation musicians to their next level. SCIMF also invites top young musicians from all of the world to participate in and share their talent with local musicians. In addition to the original program, this year, SCIMF will launch its first competition. The competition will be held on July 14, 2018.

During the 5-day intensive program, SCIMF will provide multiple lessons and events to all invitees:

The Costa Rica Piano Festival is open for advanced piano students of all ages and nationalities. Participants will have the opportunity to take academic courses, private lessons and master classes with highly renowned artists as well as perform in major concert halls. In addition, the festival will offer the unique experience of exploring the natural wonders of Costa Rica.

Selected students will have the unique opportunity to perform a movement of a classical concerto with the Costa Rica Piano Festival Symphony Orchestra. A separate application is required.
